چکیده

It w found that an appreciableJractim of the critical stress in pure shear may be applied to the plate without any reduction in the transwse compressiw stres8 necessary to produce buckling. An interaction formulu in general use was shown to be decidedly con8erwtimfor the range in which it is supposed to apply.
